       
             
                 
              
Jim Olson has spent most of his life working in the car dealership industry, holding a variety of positions helping him learn all the facets of what makes an auto dealership successful. Jim's dedication and experience helped propel him to executive level positions at one of the largest auto dealerships in the metro Milwaukee area. In 2006 Jim Olson decided the time was right to venture out on his own and that September he purchased Bill Boettcher Chevrolet Buick Cadillac in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. The dealership was renamed Jim Olson Motors of Door County and the Jim Olson Automotive Group was born.
Jim Olson saw an additional community need for an automotive service center that would service the east side of Sturgeon Bay and the Northern Door County peninsula. In March of 2011 the Jim Olson Express location at 1201 Egg Harbor Road was opened. The new automotive express service location offered Door County residents and tourists an affordable, convenient, customer focused location for vehicle maintenance and automotive repairs.
In April of 2012, the Chrysler franchises of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram were awarded to the Jim Olson Auto Group and the Chrysler location at 812 Green Bay Road was re-opened under the Jim Olson Auto Group. A Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location had been absent from Door County since January 2009. The new car dealership brought an additional 26 jobs to Door County and allowed residents who owned Chrysler cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans to once again have their warranty work and other service needs performed locally. The addition of the Chrysler franchises continues to offer a great selection of new cars and used cars. New cars arrive daily at our centrally located car dealership on the corner of Highway 42/57 and Duluth Avenue. The dealership staff includes experienced automotive sales and service department representatives. The service department includes factory trained and certified technicians. The Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location staff prides itself on a fun and hassle free sales and service experience for our customers.Â
In October of 2014 the Jim Olson Auto Group once again expanded when Sturgeon Bay's Witt Ford Lincoln location at 120 Green Bay Road was purchased. The car dealership was renamed Jim Olson Ford Lincoln.
